How did you get involved in Dream High and what is your involvement?

I was invited by Phil Linley to get involved in an enterprise facilitation project using the Sirroli principles some 5-6 years ago. I came to realise this is the ONLY way businesses in deprived areas stand a chance of flourishing as 25 years of wasted government initiatives had not moved the enterprise agenda forward

What has been your experience of Dream High?

Dream High is an excellent resource for young start up businesses. Apart from being FREE it has the UNIQUE element of tapping into a wide network of panel members who freely give of their time and expertise to support the individual business through panel presentations and using the enterprise facilitator as a conduit

How do you think it impacts on the community/clients?

Fundamental to the principles of Sirroli is ‘testing the passion’ – if business have the passion then we can help make them even better businesses and enable to attain their own aspirations for their business and indeed their community. If they do what is asked of them they will get the very best out of an enterprise facilitator and the panel she is able to tap into. Self-confidence is crucial to a vibrant and engaged community.

What do you get personally get out of your involvement?

My personal experience of Dream High has been a fulfilling and satisfying one: it has enabled me to bring my skill to bear and assist local businesses and it has brought me into contact with people I now regard as friends and had some fun along the way which for me is very important !
